Seawolves Pressure Pays Off in Win

The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) men's basketball team beat Paul Smiths College (PSC) this evening 93-75.  Defense proved to be the deciding factor in the victory as the Seawolves' pressure forced PSC to commit 27 turnovers.

Senior guard Josh Mackie (South Portland, ME) led all scorers with 30 points including seven three-pointers.  Freshman forward Anderson Santana (South Boston, MA) played well on both ends of the floor contributing 15 points, 8 rebounds, 3 blocked shots and 5 steals.

With the win, the Seawolves improve to 5-5 overall and 3-3 in conference play.  The men are back in action tomorrow when they host Vermont Technical College at 2:00pm.
