Seawolves Hold Off Nashua

Nashua, NH. The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) men's basketball team won on the road as they beat the Jaguars of Nashua College. SMCC opened up to an early lead with the score being 13-6 and and never looked back. Nashua made a late run the second half out scoring the Seawolves 36-33 but SMCC held them off for a 81-68 win.

The Seawolves were lead by sophomore guard Emmanuel Donalson (East Orange, NJ) who had 24 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. Sophomore forward Jacob Loveridge (Cherstey, England) had 14 points and 4 rebounds while sophomore guard Chance Baldino (Biddeford, ME) also had 14 points but chipped in 4 assists and 2 rebounds. 

SMCC improves to 15-3 overall and remains 10-1 in conference play. The Seawolves will host Kings College of NY this Saturday January 12. Game time is scheduled for Noon.
