Bangor, ME. The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) men's basketball team dropped their third straight game to to Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) opponent Eastern Maine Community College (EMCC) by a score of 64-60. The Seawolves were up 4 at half time by a score of 34-30 but weren't able to hold on as the Golden Eagles out scored them 34-26 in the second half.
The Seawolves were led by sophomore guard Emmanuel Donalson (East Orange, NJ) who shot 50% from the floor with 16 points. Freshman Guard Jon Amabile (Portland, ME) added 15 points and 2 rebounds. Sophomores Jose Nouchanthavong (Westbrook, ME) and Chance Baldino (Biddeford, ME) each added 8 points. Nouchanthavong also added 8 rebounds and 4 assists.
SMCC drops to 16-6 overall and 10-2 in conference play. The Seawolves will be back in action this Saturday January 26th as they host Dean College in the Coaches vs Cancer Classic. Game time is scheduled for 3:00PM.
