South Portland, ME. The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) men's basketball team came out to play on senior night and earned a win in it's last regular season game. The Seawolves beat Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) opponent the University Maine of Augusta (UMA) by a score of 111-84. The Seawolves were up by 10 at half time and kept on rolling. SMCC out scored the Moose 68 to 20 in the paint and were able to shoot better then 50% from the floor.  

The Seawolves had an all around effort as 5 players scored double figures. Out of the 3 starters with double figures, senior sophomore guard Emmanuel Donalson(East Orange, NJ) led all scores with 33 points on 14-26 from the floor and was able to contribute 4 steals, 4 assists, and 4 rebounds. Freshman guard Jon Amabile (Portland, ME) had 27 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 rebounds. Senior forward Jacob Loveridge (Chertsey, England) came off the bench to contribute a double double with 15 points and 14 rebounds while also dishing out 5 assists. Senior sophomore point guard Jose Nouchanthavong (Westbrook, ME) chipped in 11 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists.

SMCC finishes the regular season 19-10 overall and 12-5 in conference play. The Seawolves will prepare for the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) tournament that is being hosted by Central Maine Community College this weekend. Seawolves play Saturday February 16th at 5:00PM.
