Auburn, ME. The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) men's basketball team's dreams fell short tonight as they fell to the Lynks of New Hampshire Technical Instsitute in the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) tournament by a score of 81-73. The Seawolves got off to a slow start and found them selves down 51-33 at half. SMCC was able to out score the Lynks in the second half 40-30 but it wasn't enough to over come the 18 point half time deficit.

The Seawolves were led by freshman guard Jon Amabile (Portland, ME) who had 17 points. Running the offense was sophomore point guard Jose Nouchanthavong (Westbrook, ME) who also had 17 points.

SMCC finishes their season 20-11 overall and 13-6 in Yankee Conference play.
