Seawolves Cruise Past Great Bay

Portsmouth, NH - Seawolves' center Jack Tolan (South Portland, ME) scored 14 of his game high 19 points in the first half of tonight's game, helping SMCC rack up a 53-36 halftime lead over the Herons of Great Bay Community College. The Seawolves kept the momentum in the second half, this time led by big man Daniel Tokarz (Kittery, ME) who scored nine of his career high 11 points in the second period helping lift the Seawolves to a 101-60 triumph. 

Seawolves' forward John Morgan (Sanford, ME), who was named the Yankee Small College Conference Player of the Week this afternoon, added 13 points while Asad Dahia (Westbrook, ME), Jordan DeRosby (Waterville, ME) and Matt Talbot (Portland, ME) each chipped in eight. 

The Herons were led by shooting guard Tristan Arthur who netted 17, including three from beyond the arc. 

The Seawolves have now won three games in a row, improving their overall record to 8-12 and their conference record to 5-4. The men will be at home for the first time in the second semester on Saturday when they host the Knights of CCRI at 2pm.
