Auburn - This afternoon the Seawolves posted a 97-83 victory over NHTI in the quarterfinal round of the YSCC tournament to advance to the semifinals. Sophomore forward John Morgan (Sanford, ME) shot a stellar 8-10 from the field and 6-6 from the charity stripe to lead SMCC with 22 points, six rebounds and three assists. Matt Talbot (Portland, ME) also had a noteworthy performance chalking up a double double with 19 points and 13 rebounds to go along with six assists and four blocked shots. Jordan DeRosby (Waterville, ME) chipped in with 17 points and four assists while Matthew Jarrett (Norwalk, CT) and Grayson Waterman (Berwick, ME) added 13 and 12 respectively.
The Seawolves will be back in action tomorrow at 6pm.
