Clippers Slip Past Seawolves

South Portland - This afternoon was all about a bitter rivalry as the Seawolves and Clipper of the University of Maine - Machias engaged in a hard fought 90 minutes in front of great crowd of fans and SMCC alumni.Tied at one goal each since the 30:55 mark the game looked like it was headed for overtime until UMM forward Juan Solares nailed the game winning shot into the back of the net with 5:55 remaining in regulation giving UMM the 2-1 victory.

The Seawolves got off to a great start early when midfielder Sean Jackson (Berwick, ME) scored just 5:39 into regulation.
