Seawolves Pull Off 1-0 Victory Over CM

South Portland - This afternoon the men's soccer team hosted Central Maine Community College in their first home game since September 13th. The Seawolves' were able to protect their home field as they overcame the Mustangs 1-0.

The lone goal for SMCC came at the 71:09 mark when midfielder Brandon Ford (Lebanon, ME) buried a penalty kick in the left corner of the net, just past the diving CM goalie. The Seawolves' defense and keeper Drew Martin (Berwick, ME), who had six saves on thirteen total shots, were able to keep the Mustangs off the scoreboard and chalk up their fifth win of the season. 

The Seawolves are now 5-4-1 and sit on top of the YSCC East. They will host conference opponent, Unity College, on Saturday at 3pm.
