LINCOLN, R.I.—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) men's soccer team played to a 4-4 draw in non-conference action against the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) on Saturday, Sept. 10.

Trailing 3-1 at the break, second-half adjustments sparked new life in the offensive third and the Seawolves scored three to leave Rhode Island with a result.

First-year Alberto Kissaka (Biddeford, Maine) and sophomores David Wilson (Merrimac, Mass.) and Eriksen Shea (Freeport, Maine) all found the back of the net for the first time this season; sophomore Laszlo Dorogi (West Boylston, Mass.) connected for his second in two games.

Following the game, Head Coach Brian Dougher reflected, "I'm proud of the resilience our guys showed in the second half. It's easy to roll over in those moments, but now we've proven the game is never out of reach. With a few tactical tweaks, we're ready to put it to the test again, against a talented Bridgton side."

SMCC moves to 0-2-1; CCRI stands 0-1-1 overall.

The Seawolves return to Wainwright for the first of two regular season meetings with the Wolverines from Bridgton Academy. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
