New York, NY - Despite a tough shooting night, the Lady Seawolves were able to pick up the 68-56 victory over the Lady Knights of Berkeley College (NY).

The Lady Seawolves shot a dismal 25.6% from the field and 31.3% from the free throw line through the opening two quarters but managed to cling to a six point, 30-24, lead at halftime. In the second half the Seawolves improved to 40% shooting and achieved their largest lead of the game, 66-48, off a Zyrah Giustra (New Sharon, ME) jump shot. Sammie Griffin (Union, ME) led the Seawolves with 16 points, including four made shots from downtown. Jones added a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds and Hoyt ended with eight points and a career high 18 rebounds.
