Balanced Scoring Propels Seawolves Past Herons

Portsmouth, NH - This afternoon the Lady Seawolves used all eleven players on offense to take a dominant 88-18 win over the Herons of Great Bay Community College.  

Seawolves' center Alicia Hoyt (Steep Falls, ME) led all scorers with 13 points, while point guard Jordan Turner (Casco, ME) added 12. Defensive specialist Abigail Nielsen (North Yarmouth, ME) pitched in with 10 and Vanese Barnes (Jay, ME) chipped in nine for SMCC. 

Great Bay forward Ashley Lambert scored a team high eight points for the Herons. 

With this win the Lady Seawolves improve to 15-4 on the season, while sporting a 6-3 conference record. The girls will be back in action on Sunday thhe 17th when they travel to Rhode Island to battle CCRI. In the first meeting between these two teams the Seawolves prevailed in a close one, 71-61.
