Bulldogs Take Down Seawolves, 71-65

Franklin, MA - This afternoon the Seawolves traveled to Dean College for a nonconference matchup against the Lady Bulldogs. The Seawolves used full court defensive pressure to control the first half and took a seven point lead into the break, 35-28, but the Bulldogs made a comeback in the second half to walk away with the 71-65 victory. 

The Seawolves were plagued by early foul trouble that resulted in the disqualification of both starting post players, Alicia Hoyt (Steep Falls, ME) and Amira Jones (Chicopee, MA), early in the fourth quarter. Hoyt and Jones led the Seawolves on offense scoring 14 and 11 points respectively. 

With this loss the Seawolves fall to 17-7 overall. Their next game will be on the road on Wednesday February 3rd at New Hampshire Technical Institute at 6pm.
