First-year Emily Hogan (Jay, Maine) and sophomore Jordan Farquharson (Ryegate, Vt.) both finished with 10 points. Co-captain Destinie Montano (Chicopee, Mass.) recorded seven assists, and after the game, spoke on her ability to see the floor, "Coach stresses the importance of playing for your teammates instead of yourself."

SMCC tallied 28 points in the second quarter, tying their largest total in a quarter this season, and took a 45-11 lead into the locker room at the half. The SeaWolves went ahead by 41 mid-way through the third quarter, their largest lead of the night, and cruised a 66-42 win to improve to 4-0 overall.

The SeaWolves capitalized on points off turnovers with 38 and made 14 on second chance opportunities grabbing 15 offensive rebounds as a team. The home team shot 75 percent from the foul line and near 40 percent from the floor.

Head Coach Katie Bergeron commented, "Today was another great team win! It's always nice to have three players in double-digit scoring and nine out of 11 players contributing with points. We prepared all week and executed a game plan to which I'm proud of the team. Vanese and Kaylah played solid defense on Navy's Ariana McKenzie- a great player."
