CLINTON COUNTY, N.Y.—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) women's basketball team scored its season-high point total in an 86-56 victory over North Country Community College (NJCAA) in a non-conference contest on Sunday, Nov. 19. The game was played on neutral ground at Clinton Community College.

In a post-game interview, Head Coach Katie Stannard commented, "I was really proud of our captain leadership this weekend. We responded well after a tough loss and everyone showed up focused to get back on track. Maddy and Aija started us off very strong tonight and everyone followed suit. It's fun to have such a big win on the road and have everyone contribute!"

SMCC improves to 4-1 on the season, and remains 0-1 in league play.

The Lady Wolves return to action on Sunday, Nov. 26 when they travel to the University of Maine at Farmington (NCAA Div. 3) to take on the Beavers at 4:00 p.m.
