BANGOR, Maine—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) women's women's golf team finished fourth overall at the same tournament. First-year Charlotte Blanchard (Dedham, Maine) led the team with a strong performance, recording 80 and good for a tie for fourth place. Sydney Pergerson (South Berwick, Maine), Delany Blake (Bowling Green, Ohio), and Emma Hajdasz (Colchester, Conn.) each contributed valuable scores of 91, 97, and 103.

Their ability to handle the course's demands was evident, and their performance highlighted their preparation and resilience in the elements.

This shows a promising start for the season and sets a high mark for the rest of the season. The women will head to Brunswick for a two day tournament hosted by Bowdoin College beginning Saturday, Sept. 14.
