Southern Maine Community College women’s soccer team fought hard for ninety minutes but came up short against conference foe University of Maine-Machias. Sophomore midfielder Nicole Poland (Cushing, ME) scored the lone goal for the Seawolves off an assist from sophomore Esther Palmieri (South Portland, ME).
The Seawolves are now 3-3 in conference and overall. They look to keep playoff hopes alive when they travel to Eastern Maine Community College on Sunday, October 2.
