Asheville, NC - This afternoon the Lady Seawolves participated in their first ever USCAA national tournament game against the Shammies of Carlow University. A hard fought battle ended in a 1-0 win for the Shammies. 

An evenly played first half saw five shots by each team but neither could find their way onto the scoreboard. In the second half the Shammies outshot the Seawolves 12-4, eventually scoring on a free kick by Kristina Wallace at the 63:36 mark to seal the game 1-0. 

The Lady Seawolves will compete in a consolation game scheduled for tomorrow, November 5th, at 9:30am.
