Pitching dominates as NHTI pulls the upset over SMCCMay 02, 2015South Portland – The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Seawolves baseball team played host to the 2015 Yankee Small College Conference tournament. The #2 rank Seawolves took on #3 rank NHTI lynx from Concord, NH in the first semi-final game of the day. NHTI pitcher Tyler Thorgerson completed a seven inning, six hit performance to pick up a 2-1 win and advance to the YSCC championships game.

The Seawolves picked up a shutout in game one, 3-0, and held on to get the second win 4-3 in game two.

Wildcats Come From Behind to Take One From SeawolvesSeptember 12, 2014Durham, NH - Tonight the Seawolves headed south to battle YSCC member UNH-Club team. After leading for the majority of the contest the lead slipped away from SMCC in the sixth when the Wildcats scored on a RBI infield single and an error to take the lead by a lone run. The Wildcats proceeded to hold the Seawolves scoreless for the remainder of the game to come away with the 4-3 win.

Seawolves Down Golden EaglesSeptember 10, 2014South Portland - In tonight's baseball action the Seawolves hosted the Golden Eagles of Eastern Maine Community College. Both teams got off to a slow start, going three scoreless innings before the Golden Eagles put up one run in the top of the fourth to go ahead 1-0. The Seawolves answered in the bottom of the fourth with five runs and tacked on one more in the fifth to pull out the 6-1 victory.

Seawolves Win Fall Season OpenerSeptember 03, 2014Bridgton, ME - This afternoon the Seawolves' baseball team traveled to Bridgton to open up their fall season against the Wolverines from Bridgton Academy. The Seawolves pulled off a close 1-0 victory behind a three hit effort from pitchers Dylan Morrow (Hays, TX), Ian Boyle (Portland, ME) and Nate Boyle (Windham, ME).
