Jordan Yanni will begin his third season as Head Coach of the SeaWolves baseball program in 2018. In his first two years, Yanni has delivered two Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) titles, the seventh and eighth in program history, and owns a 40-26-2 combined record, 16-4-1 YSCC.
A native of Gray, Maine, Yanni began his collegiate playing career at West Virginia Wesleyan (Division II) as a catcher. Following the 2004 and 2005 seasons at West Virginia, Yanni returned home to continue his career at the University of Southern Maine (Gorham, Maine) and proved to be a defensive standout at his position. Yanni graduated from USM with a degree in Business Administration in 2009.
Prior to joining SMCC, Yanni served as the Windham High School Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach for the 2008 and 2009 seasons. Yanni has also offered instruction as a hitting and catching coach at Frozen Ropes Training Center. In addition to his duties at SMCC, he also works for Leaderboard of Boston, providing sponsorship opportunities and other event services to golf tournaments throughout New England.
