Seawolves, Saints Split to Wrap up Regular SeasonApril 26, 2015Rutland, VT - The Lady Seawolves wrapped up their regular season on the road yesterday afternoon with a double header against YSCC foe St. Joe's College (VT). When the two teams met in the fall the Seawolves were swept by the Saints but this meeting would be a different story as the Seawolves took game one by a convincing 7-2 score. The Saints managed a six run second inning in game two to pull away from the Seawolves and eventually walk away with the 12-4 triumph.

Lady Seawolves Take Two on Senior DayApril 25, 2015South Portland - Today the Lady Seawolves played their final home games of the 2014-15 season against the Lady Bulldogs of Dean College. Six of the thirteen players on the SMCC roster were participating in their senior game and wanted to be sure they protected their home field in their last home outing. The Seawolves pulled out a close fought game one by a score of 7-5 and cruised to an 11-3 triumph in game two.

Seawolves Rout MustangsApril 23, 2015South Portland, ME- This afternoon the Lady Seawolves took down conference rival Central Maine CC, 8-3, in the second meeting between the two teams this spring. In the first meeting between the teams, the Seawolves beat the Mustangs 8-0.

Seawolves Triumph 23-4 Over Northern EssexApril 22, 2015South Portland - This afternoon the Lady Seawolves took the season series with the Lady Knights of Northern Essex by a score of 23-4. Earlier the teams split, with SMCC taking game one 4-2 and then NECC taking game two, 2-1.

Seawolves Swept by Lemay and the LynxApril 18, 2015South Portland - NHTI pitcher Tori Lemay threw 20 strikeouts over the course of two games to hold Seawolves to just one total run as the Lynx cruised to a 14-0 win in game one and a 10-1 triumph in the second game.

UNH Defeats Seawolves and NHTI to Win TournamentOctober 05, 2014South Portland - This afternoon SMCC hosted the NECA postseason softball tournament, featuring the SMCC Seawolves, the Lynx of NHTI and the UNH-club Wildcats. UNH beat the Seawolves, 3-1, in the opening game to advance and face the top seeded Lady Lynx of NHTI. In the championship game the Wildcats came away with the 2-0 shutout to claim the fall postseason title.

In game one the Lynx came out on top 7-3 and in game two they squeaked out a one run victory 8-7.

Lady Seawolves Soar Past Golden EaglesSeptember 10, 2014South Portland - Tonight the Lady Seawolves opened up their fall season with a game against the Golden Eagles of Eastern Maine Community College. Seawolves pitching duo Charlotte Lewis (Chatham, NH) and Erica Brochu (Lewiston, ME) combined for seven strikeouts in five innings, giving up only two hits and one run. The Seawolves' offense combined for three doubles, a triple and a homerun to overcome the Eagle 9-1.
