On Wednesday the Seawolves triumphed 8-0 over CMCC, their largest margin of victory so far this season until tonight when they defeated the Mustangs 9-0.

  • Lady Seawolves Fall to Clippers in Battle

    South Portland - This afternoon's soccer action showcased the Lady Seawolves of SMCC and the Lady Clippers of the University of Maine - Machias. The teams were tied at two goals a piece as they entered double overtime but two minutes later Clipper forward Brooklynne Lewis chipped the ball into the right corner of the net to solidify the 3-2 win for the Clippers. The winning goal was Lewis' third of her hat trick performance in today's contest.

    South Portland - Eight minutes into this afternoon's women's soccer matchup between the Lady Knights of Vermont Technical College (VTC) and the Lady Seawolves, SMCC midfielder Zyrah Giustra (New Sharon, ME) drove the ball into the right corner of the net past VTC goalie, Laura Flint. The Lady Seawolves were able to hold off Vermont Tech for the remainder of the contest, pulling out the 1-0 victory.
  • Lady Seawolves Fall to Dean in Season Debut
    August 30, 2014
    South Portland, ME - Lady Seawolves' freshman goalkeeper Aime Worcester (Naples, ME) made her debut between the nets in this afternoon's contest against the Lady Bulldogs of Dean College. Worcester had 12 saves for the game, allowing only two goals in 90 minutes of play but the Lady Seawolves could not manage to generate any offense for the contest, falling to Dean 2-0. Freshman forward Katy Cyr (Chicopee, MA) led the squad in offensive shot attempts getting up four shots, including two shots on goal.
