Women's Soccer

Julia Cyr will begin her fourth season at the helm of the Lady SeaWolves soccer program. In her previous three seasons, Cyr has amassed a 19-18-3 overall record while going 8-10-1 in Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) play.

In 2015, Cyr was named YSCC Coach of the Year leading the SeaWolves to their most successful season in women's soccer history to include the program's first conference title and first United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National Tournament appearance. Cyr has coached two YSCC All-Conference Selections and two USCAA All-Americans. 

Prior to SMCC, Cyr had been heavily involved in the Southern Maine soccer community. Cyr began her playing career at Bonny Eagle High School and upon graduating, took her talents to the University of Southern Maine (Gorham, Maine), where she excelled as a four-year starter.

Following her playing career, Cyr earned her license as a USSF certified referee and coached for the Odyssey Soccer Club. Before taking on the Lady SeaWolves program, Cyr served on the women’s staff at the Waynflete School (Portland, Maine) for two seasons.
