SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine— Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) student-athletes achieved an overall grade point average (GPA) of 2.79 spanning this 2017 spring semester.

Upon participation and per United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) and Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) compliance standards, all student-athletes are required to enroll in a full course load of at least 12 credit hours per semester, and must also meet USCAA normal academic progress standards.

39 percent of all student-athletes this spring semester earned a GPA of 3.0 or above. The coaching staffs of SMCC Athletics congratulate their student-athletes for their efforts on the playing surface and in the classroom.
