Dear SMCC faculty:
You are cordially invited to Faculty Appreciation Night when the Seawolves basketball programs play host to the University of Maine at Augusta inside the HUB Athletic Center on Wednesday, January 22nd.
The women will tip off at 5:00 p.m. followed by the men at 7:00 p.m. If able, please arrive early for a special pregame recognition moment. Bring your College ID to present at the gate for free entry. We’ll reserved the first two rows of bleachers for faculty to cheer on their Seawolves!
I’m extremely proud of the efforts made by our student-athletes in meeting the demands both on the playing surface and in the classroom. The fall 2024 department GPA was a 2.98—the highest mark since tracking the data from spring 2014. This achievement also belongs to our dedicated faculty members who serve in mentorship roles and embrace all of the positive traditions of SMCC.
We look forward to seeing you at the games to show our gratitude for your amazing efforts!
