Nouchanthavong, McCusker Earn USCAA All-American Honors

Farmington, PA - At last night's USCAA All-American banquet two SMCC student-athletes, Jose Nouchanthavong and Danielle McCusker, received USCAA All-American honors.  

Junior point guard Jose Nouchanthavong (Westbrook, ME) received USCAA DII First Team All American honors. He led the Seawolves this year in both scoring, averaging 15.7 points per game, and assists, averaging 5.7 per game. Jose was named YSCC Player of the Week for the week of November 18th and USCAA National Player of the Week for the week of January 14th.

Danielle McCusker (South Portland, ME), senior shooting guard for the Lady Seawolves was named to the USCAA DII All American Second Team. Danielle led the Lady Seawolves in scoring, averaging 16 points per contest and free throw shooting, ending the season shooting a team best 74% from the charity stripe. Danielle was second on the team for assists, dishing out 2.6 per game and third for rebounds, grabbing 5.5 per contest.
