Bronson Kieltyka: Student-Athlete Spotlight

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine— Bronson Kieltyka is September’s student-athlete spotlight. Hailing from Augusta, Maine, Kieltyka is in his sophomore year at Southern Maine Community College and begins his second season as a member of the men’s soccer team.

Before enrolling at SMCC, Kieltyka attended Woodberry Forest School (Woodberry Forest, Va.) and graduated from Cony High School (Augusta, Maine) in 2014.

This semester, Kieltyka is taking a heavy course load with 15 credits as he continues to work towards his degree in Business Administration. Kieltyka is leading the charge in his chapter’s College Project “SMCC Mentor Mixers.” These mixer events offer an opportunity for both first-year and returning students to meet advisors, future professors, and peers within the many departments on campus, and was designed to help create a greater sense of community among students and faculty.
