UPDATE: TOURNAMENT FIELD IS FULL
Attention all SMCC Athletics supporters:
It’s time to dust off those clubs and get ready to play in the area’s premier golf tournament!
Join us on Monday, August 10, 2020 on the links at Purpoodock Golf Club in Cape Elizabeth, Maine for a fun-filled day of golf. It is the mission of SMCC Athletics to continuously better the student-athlete experience, thus all of the proceeds of this 16th Annual SMCC Athletics Golf Tournament, hosted by the Southern Maine Community College Foundation and the SeaWolves Athletic Club, will help fund the athletic program offerings at SMCC.
Format
This year’s tournament will operate under new format changes. The event will run as a two-flight tournament with modified start times. Flight 1 will begin at 8:30 a.m. with tee-times scheduled every 10 minutes. Flight 2 will go off at 1:30 p.m. again making use of modified start times. Teams will be able to choose their preferred flight during this registration process, however this will be on first-come, first serve basis. Flight and start times will be disseminated via email to particpates prior to the tournament. These format changes will be utilized to create additional space on the course and to meet the standards of COVID-19 best practices. It is of the utmost importance to SMCC and Purpoodock Golf Club to offer participants the best possible experience under these SAFETY GUIDELINES.
Foursome registration is $520 per team which includes:
- Greens fee
- Cart
- Designated meal on the course
- Entry into: Longest Drive, Closest-To-The-Pin, and the Par 3 Challenge
- 1 mulligan and 1 putting string
Registration
Individual players are welcome for a fee of $130 and will be found a team. The registration deadline is Monday, August 3, however teams and players are encouraged to register early as this tournament reaches player capacity quickly.
To limit contact at the course, player/team registration will be done online prior to the event.

In order to reserve your spot, payment must be made by the registration deadline. Payment should be made either:
