A three-year member of the men’s basketball program (2014-17), John Morgan achieved both regional and national recognition as a Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) champion (’17), and a United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National Tournament participant (’15, ’17). The small forward was named First Team All-Conference, YSCC Player of the Year, conference tournament MVP, and a First Team All-American in the same season. Morgan captained the program for two seasons and was honored with the department’s Carrol Rines Sports Person of the Year award in 2017.

The Maine native transferred to Thomas College to continue his playing career and achieve 1,000 career points. Upon graduation, Morgan continued to service the basketball community as the Head Varsity Basketball Coach at Noble High School.
