Parmley Honored As USCAA National Pitcher of the Week

NORFOLK, Va.— Sophomore Kyle Parmley (Eliot, Maine) was named United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday, May 9.

The staff ace led the SeaWolves to their fifth Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) championship in six years throwing a gem in the title game against New Hampshire Technical Institute (NHTI) on Sunday, May 7. Parmley went the distance for the home team allowing just five hits, two earned runs, and struck out five in seven innings of work.

Following the game, Parmley was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player.

The sophomore concluded his season at 5-3, notching an even 40 strikeouts and a 3.61 earned run average spanning a team-leading 57.1 innings pitched.
