
MYRTLE BEACH, SOUTH CAROLINA – The Seawolves take control in their second game of the day, overpowering Olney Central College (NJCAA DI) with a dominant offensive performance in a 12-7 victory.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
SMCC came out swinging, plating four runs in the first inning, highlighted by an RBI double from Delanie Perry(DeLand, Florida) and an RBI single from Emily Hutchins (Kennebunk, Maine). The Seawolves tacked on runs in every inning, including a five-run fourth that put the game out of reach.
The Seawolves' offense totaled 10 hits, with Perry leading the charge, going 2-for-4 with three RBIs and two doubles. Cameron Crerar (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada) also added a multi-hit effort, finishing 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored. Hutchins reached base three times, scoring three runs and stealing three bases.
Sloan Scotvold (Red Deer, Alberta, Canada) earned her first victory of the year, throwing four innings while Sarah Wilkins (Red Deer, Alberta, Canada) came in to close the game, pitching a scoreless fifth inning.

Sloan Scotvold earned the win, allowing seven runs on 10 hits while striking out one in four innings.
Sarah Wilkins secured the save, pitching a clean fifth inning.
For Olney Central, Alli Downes took the loss, surrendering four runs in one inning of work.
