SMCC freshman center Marissa Welch (Livermore, ME) was selected as the Yankee Small College Conference women's player of the week on November 28th.  She earned the honor after contributing her fourth double-double of the season in the Seawolves 62-60 victory at UMaine-Machias on Sunday, November 27.  Welch dominated the paint scoring 24 points and pulling down 18 rebounds.
