Seawolves Fall to CSJ in YSCC Semifinals

Auburn - The Saints were able to build a twenty-seven point lead, 41-14, over the Seawolves with 4:30 remaining in the second quarter but the Seawolves finished out the period with a 12-4 run to cut the lead to 19 going into the half. In the second half the Seawolves made a huge run and were able to cut the lead to six, 61-55, after back to back jumpers by sophomore Abigail Nielsen (North Yarmouth, ME). The Saints built the lead back to nine but a Sammie Griffin (Union, ME) three pointer closed cut the deficit to six with 1:08 remaining. A couple missed opportunities by the Seawolves allowed the Saints to get two easy layups in transition and eventually come away with the 72-62 triumph.
