POLAND, Maine— Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) golf showcased an impressive performance at Fairlawn Golf Course on Saturday, Sept. 21, securing victory with a total score of 232. The team's depth and skill shone through as they took down the University of Maine at Augusta, Central Maine Community College, and Kennebec Valley Community College.

Sophomore Quinn Dillon (Gorham, Maine) led the charge, earning the title of low medalist with a stellar round of 74. His consistent play and strategic approach set the tone for the team. Owen Lee (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) and Lucas Inman (South Portland, Maine) both contributed strong scores of 79, demonstrating their resilience and ability to perform under pressure. Sophomore Asa Buteau (Scarborough, Maine) added to the team's success with an 80, while Matthew Quigley (Benton, Maine) rounded out the scoring with an 82.

The Seawolves' combined effort not only clinched the tournament win but also highlighted their camaraderie and determination on the course.

The Lady Seawolves sent three golfers to compete individually. First-year Charlotte Blanchard (Dedham, Maine) was outstanding, firing a 78 which was enough to place her 3rd overall for all golfers. Emma Hajdasz (Colchester, Conn.) posted a 97 and Delaney Blake (Bowling Green, Ohio) added a 99.
