Machias - In this afternoon's YSCC women's soccer match the Lady Clippers of the University of Maine - Machias rolled to a 4-0 victory over the Lady Seawolves.

The first goal for the Clippers came off a long distance shot from 35 yards out and the second off a through ball from Samantha Shaneybrook to Brooklynne Lewis, dribbling past the defense and beating Seawolves' goalkeeper Aime Worcester (Naples, ME) far post. The Shaneybrook/Lewis duo struck again before the end of the first half dropping the third Clipper goal into the back of the net. In the second half Lewis completed her hat trick performance, scoring her third goal of the game off a rebound scuffle in front of the net, knocking it off the post and barely across the goal line to give the Clippers the 4-0 triumph.

The Lady Seawolves drop to 2-5-1 on the season, playing again on Wednesday October 1st against conference rival Central Maine Community College at 3pm.
