PORTSMOUTH, N.H. – The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) women's volleyball team started it's season on the road to play conference opponent Great Bay Community College (GBCC) on Thursday Sep. 5.

Last season the Seawolves were able to find much success against the Herons, winning six straight sets against them. In 2023, the Seawolves first hosted the Herons, where they would win three straight sets to secure their third conference win of the 2023 season. The Seawolves would continue their winning streak against GBCC in their season opener on Thursday, beating the Herons 3-0.

SMCC has started their season off 1-0.

The Seawolves are back in action against NJCAA Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) on Saturday Sept. 7. First serve in Boston, Massachusetts is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
