    South Portland - This afternoon the Seawolves finished up regular season play with an overtime 63-57 win over the Rams of the Naval Prepatory Academy. This win marks the Lady Seawolves twenty-second, the most wins in a regular season in program history.

    South Portland - This afternoon the Lady Seawolves recognized eight young ladies during senior day when the Seawolves faced off against YSCC opponent Vermont Technical College (VTC). The Seawolves used a balanced offensive attackand contributions from all players to propel themselves past the Knights, 92-28.
  • Lady Seawolves Get Redemption at CMCC
    February 10, 2016
    Auburn - Tonight the Lady Seawolves traveled to CMCC in hopes of avenging the 68-38 loss the Mustangs handed the Seawolves in December. SMCC trailed by a handful of points nearly the entire game and were facing their largest deficit, 48-38, with seven and a half minutes remaining when an Abigail Nielsen (North Yarmouth, ME) jump shot spurred a 11-0 run to put SM up one with three minutes to go. The Seawolves outscored the Mustangs 9-5 in the closing minutes to walk away with the 58-53 conference victory.
  • Seawolves Cruise Past Clippers

    Machias - This afternoon Seawolves point guard Jordan Turner (Casco, ME) scored the first eight points of the game to give SMCC an 8-2 lead over UMaine-Machias. The Seawolves proceeded to outscore the Clippers 23-5 in the first quarter as they cruised to a 77-47 victory.

    Concord, NH - Sophomore point guard Jordan Turner (Casco, ME) chalked up her first collegiate double double with 11 points and 10 rebounds to help lead the Lady Seawolves to an 83-58 over the Lynx of NHTI.

    Rutland, VT - This afternoon the Lady Seawolves traveled to Vermont to face the Saints of the College of St. Joseph's. Today's matchup was a rematch of last season's YSCC championship game in which the Lady Saints prevailed 72-67. Today was another hard fought battle for forty minutes but once again the Saints came out on top, 60-56.

    South Portland - This afternoong the Lady Sewaolves played host to defending USCAA National Champions, PSU-Beaver. After a 40 minute, back and forth battle that consisted of 14 ties and 13 lead changes the Seawolves prevailed, 78-75.

    South Portland - The Lady Seawolves got off to a slow start in this afternoon's contest against the Nittany Lions of PSU-Mont Alto, trailing 14-11 after one quarter of play. SMCC came back with a vengeance, outscoring the Lions by 10 points in both the second and third quarters, and taking the eventual 71-46 victory.
