
BOSTON, Mass.—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) baseball team suffered a 10-0 loss to the Bulldogs of Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) in non-conference action on Monday, Apr. 29.
The Bulldogs' offense found runs in the first, second, sixth and eighth innings to secure a convincing win. BHCC's Deirian Arias and Jose Roso each collected two RBIs, and Abe Squire pitched a complete game shutout for the home team.
The SMCC offense managed five hits; no player recorded a multi-hit game. Seawolves' starter Bennett Smith (Falmouth, Maine) took the loss, giving up six runs in five innings of work.
The result moves SMCC to 26-11 overall.
The Seawolves conclude their regular season at Northern Essex Community College on Tuesday, Apr. 30. First pitch in Haverhill, Mass. is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
