SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine— 11 combined strikeouts from Aidan Dolan (Weymouth, Mass.), Caleb Reid (Tampa Bay, Fl.), and Garrett McLeod (Winterport, Maine) were not enough to keep the Mustangs from Central Maine Community College (CMCC) off the scoreboard in Monday's nine-inning tilt.

In a dominant pitching performance, Levi Tibbetts earned the win for the Mustangs, going seven innings and striking out 13 batters. CMCC took control early, scoring two runs in the second inning, capitalizing on SMCC's shaky defense. They added another insurance run in the fifth inning, extending their lead to three.

SMCC managed only five hits throughout the game while being plagued by defensive issues, committing five errors. On the offensive end, the Seawolves were led by Zach Oliver (Gloucester, Mass.) who contributed two hits. Quinn Dillon (Gorham, Maine), Thomas Marcotte (Acushnet, Mass.), and Adam Rowland (Okotoks, Alberta, Canada) each added a hit of their own.

The Seawolves move to 3-2 on the season and look to get back on track when they host Bridgton Academy on Tuesday, Sept. 17. First pitch in South Portland is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
