SMCC finishes second at conference championships, Dillon earns All-Conference

CAPE NEDDICK, Maine—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) golf program finished as runners-up at the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) championship event on Sunday, Oct. 1 firing a team score of 332.

  2. Southern Maine Community College: 332
  3. Paul Smith's College: 337
  4. University of Maine at Augusta: 341
  5. NHTI: 347
  6. Central Maine Community College: 350

Out of a field of 40 golfers, first-year Quinn Dillon (Gorham, Maine) put together his best round of the year shooting a 74, earning him first place at the event and All-Conference recognition.

The Seawolves have qualified and will attend the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) national tournament beginning Sunday, Oct. 8 at Penn State University (State College, Penn.). Fans are able to watch live HERE.
