Men’s Golf places fifth at Husson Invitational

BANGOR, Maine— The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) men's golf team bounced back from their tournament on Saturday, Sept. 7 to post a team score of 307 overall at Bangor Municipal on Sunday, Sept. 8.

Sophomore Owen Lee (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) led the way with a 73, tying for 10th individually. Quinn Dillon (Gorham, Maine) also played a crucial role with 74, tying him for the 12th position. Contributions from Matthew Quigley (Benton, Maine) and Lucas Inman (South Portland, Maine), who posted scores of 79 and 81 respectively, helped secure the team's fifth place finish. Sophomore Asa Buteau (Scarborough, Maine) rounded out the team close in tow with an 82.

The men look to keep things going as they travel to Litchfield, Maine to participate in the UMA Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 14. Tee times begin at 11:00 a.m.
