OAKLAND, Maine— In perfect conditions at Waterville Country Club, the Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) men's golf team delivered a solid performance to claim victory with a team score of 316.

The standout individual performance came from Owen Lee (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) who shot a 74, providing a crucial anchor for the team. Another notable round came from Quinn Dillon (Gorham, Maine) with a score of 77. Additional contributions included rounds of 80 from Christopher Keene (South Portland, Maine), 82 from Asa Buteau (Scarborough, Maine), 84 from Alexander Watts (Saco, Maine), and Matthew Quigley (Benton, Maine) with an 88.

The Seawolves' consistency across the board proved to be the difference-maker in a competitive field, earning them the top spot on the podium. The University of Maine at Farmington and the University of Maine at Augusta finished in the 2nd and 3rd spots with 326 and 333.

SMCC looks to close the regular season out in similar fashion with at the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) championship on Sunday, Oct. 6 in Portsmouth, N.H.
