Men's Soccer Lose on Penalty Kicks

SOUTH PORTLAND, ME – The Southern Maine Community College men’s soccer team ended their season in dramatic fashion 1-0 to New Hampshire Technical Institute.  The Seawolves final season record is 6-6-1 overall.

The men’s soccer team held strong for 90 minutes of regulation and for two 10 minute overtime periods before losing 2-1 in penalty kicks. Scoring the lone penalty kick for the Seawolves was freshman midfielder Adam Burpee.

Defenseman Nick Link was honored with Best Defensive Player of the Tournament for his tenacious efforts on defense stopping NHTI’s charge.
