Augusta – The Seawolves got their first win of the season with a 12-0 victory over University of Maine-Augusta.  It was a true team effort as eleven players put points in the scorebook.  Blais Whitney (Cornish, ME) and Wadhah Al-Shammari (Portland, ME) both scored 2 goals and 1 assist. Taylor Stetson (Tolland, CT) scored 2 goals. Kyle Ehlers (Ludlow, VT) and Truc Nguyen (Tam Ky, Vietnam) each tallied 1 goal and 1 assist.  The Seawolves also got goals from  Nick Broadhurst (Scarborough, ME), Sam Burr (Northeast Harbor, ME), Ben Link (South Portland, ME) and Nick Link (South Portland, ME).  Ryan Caldwell (Athens, GA) and Thomas Putnam (Baileyville, ME) contributed with two assists and one assist respectively. 

Corey Grigas (Hardwick, MA) and Dan Couverette (Winslow, ME) shared time in goal.  Couverette was credited with two saves.

The win puts SMCC at 1-0 in the YSCC and 1-2 overall.  The Seawolves are in action again tomorrow at Northern Maine Community College.
