The Seawolves were in a close battle with Springfield Tech when lightning was first detected. SMCC was trailing just 2-1 when officials stopped play.  Both teams were eager to get back on the field, but weather did not cooperate.  The game did not last the minimum required 70 minutes so the game goes down as a "no contest".  The men will try for their first win on Wednesday, September 7th when they travel to Bridgton Academy.
