South Portland, ME. Dean College proved to be too much for the Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Seawolves as they cruised to a 6-1 victory in both programs' season opening game. The Seawolves kept it tight before the Bulldogs of Dean College scored the first of their four first half goals at the 15:38 mark.
Freshman midfielder Matt McClure (Buxton, ME) scored the first Seawolves goal of the season with 2:35 remaining in the game.
SMCC (0-1) is back in action on Wednesday, September 5th when they host Bridgton Academy. Game time is slated for 4:00 PM.
