    SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine—At the conclusion of the semester, Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Director of Athletics Matt Richards published the findings of the semi-annual Spring 2019 Athletics Engagement and Academic Report. The report shows student-athlete GPAs and retention rates based on United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) normal progress rules for athletic participation eligibility.

It is the mission of SMCC Athletics to continuously better the student-athlete experience, thus all of the proceeds of this 15th Annual SMCC Athletics Golf Tournament, hosted by the Southern Maine Community College Foundation and the SeaWolves Athletic Club, will help fund the athletic program offerings at SMCC.
