Athletics Engagement and Academic Report: Spring 2023May 26, 2023SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine— At the conclusion of the semester, Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Associate Dean of Athletics and Alumni Affairs Matt Richards published the findings of the semi-annual Spring 2023 Athletics Engagement and Academic Report. The report shows student-athlete GPAs and retention rates based on United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) normal progress rules for athletic participation eligibility—a higher threshold than those standards of the College.

YSCC Basketball: Final Four PreviewFebruary 28, 2023(YSCC) – The Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) kicks off the 2023 Elite 8 Final Four this Saturday, March 4 with the quarterfinal matchups and the finals on Sunday, March 5th. The Central Maine Community College (CMCC) Mustangs are the hosts for the tournament. The YSCC will stream the Season Awards Show Friday night, and all tournament games from Kirk Hall in Auburn, Maine.
