Women’s Volleyball Sweeps Ahead of Final Four Appearance

AUBURN, Maine—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) women's volleyball team took home two victories in straight sets against the Herons of Great Bay Community College (GBCC) and the Huskies from Word of Life Bible Institute on Sunday, Oct. 10.

Both considered non-conference action, SMCC swept for the first time this season—this the fourth two-match playdate. The SeaWolves conclude their regular season at 7-5 overall.

Coach Garrett Lewellen commented, "We continue to improve our communication and focused approach. Today's performance is just what we needed ahead of the conference tournament next weekend. I'm looking forward to a good week of practice."
