May 24, 2021SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine—At the conclusion of the semester, Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Director of Athletics Matt Richards published the findings of the semi-annual Spring 2021 Athletics Engagement and Academic Report. The report shows student-athlete GPAs and retention rates based on United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) normal progress rules for athletic participation eligibility—a higher threshold than those standards of the College.

SeaWolves Unveil 2020 Hall of Fame Class
November 06, 2020SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine— Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Athletics enshrined three individuals and one team as its Hall of Fame class of 2020 by video announcement on Friday, Nov. 6. After careful consideration of all nominees, the Hall of Fame Selection Committee named Nick Anagnostis, Ali Waterman, Jose Nouthanthavong and the 2007-08 Men’s Basketball Team to join an elite group of 36 individuals and one team for their accomplishments on the playing surface and in the SMCC Athletics community.
